Melody began singing as a kid in Texas, and never stopped. Growing up she participated in every choral opportunity offered to her and is passionate about excellent music education programs for the youth of today. Participating in vocal competitions throughout high school and college, Melody competed in local, regional, and state competitions receiving awards in all areas. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in May 2020 with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Science and a Minor in Vocal Music. While at Oklahoma State she expanded her passion for singing through the Oklahoma State Choir and participating in various competitions. Also while at OSU, Melody worked with Opera singers being trained in Opera singing.
Melody is currently an elementary music teacher, teaching private voice, beginner piano, and class voice here at Theater Arts. She has a passion for singing and teaching kids how to be the best musicians they can be.
